The Role of a Logo
Your logo is the face of your business. Like your actual face, it is how people recognize you. When designing a logo, our focus is on the demographic that will be viewing it. Structure
Logos are meant to be both the symbol of the business with a typeset name. Structuring a logo requires imagining where the logo will be seen. In some cases, the logo may be very large or very small. Or, you may have less room horizontally or vertically. Due to the demand for a logo to fit many requirements our design teams always create a Vertical and Horizontal version of your logo. This creates consistency while allowing the logo to fit in many applications.
Color
Your logo colors will set the tone for your brand. Selecting colors can be an arduous task. However, the iMPRESS design team will present colors based on the tone you wish to set with your audience. Will your brand be loud and vibrant, clean and corporate, or maybe fun and creative? This all depends on the audience we are speaking to. Once your logo colors are set, your brand will expand to incorporate the feeling your logo creates. We will also include Black and White versions of your logo to fit the many applications you will use it for.
Typeset
Finding the right fonts for your brand is the toughest part of logo design. iMPRESS always suggest manipulating any chosen font to make it unique and disruptive to what everyone is used to seeing. Our design team has access to thousands of fonts and will offer various options for how to create a typeset that represents your brand.

Our Advice
Clients can spend a lot of time and money creating the "perfect" logo. Since logos are so subjective "perfect" is in the eye of the beholder. Of course, you want your logo to be attractive and somewhat informative. However, the key to logos is consistency. Once you have a logo that represents you, use it and feel confident in it.
